I am so sick of reading unedited books by people with poor spelling and grammatical skills. Of course I know what it is and it is going to tear Dr. Hated their groups parted but know they will meet back up. I am sure shecwill deal with that flaw in the next book. She still wants to stop and help too many people and she wouldnt be a good person if she didnt have that instinct, which in these after times becomes a flaw. I really liked that she made her first kill with only the adrenaline shakes and no puking. I liked that Charlie changed like the sea and was calm when it was calm and she got angry like it could get angry (the book's analogy, not mine). There is always an "old coot" somewhere and there was a good one here. There is an assortment of different characters with different backgrounds and different skills, and all characters are developed fully. The fictional series deals with just how fast and how far the evil and the hungry will go to take what is not theirs and kill without a thought.I had read the novella about Charlie and I couldnt wait for this book to come out. The trouble he finds along the way and after he returns home is shocking. Then the story continues in the series with events that happen to him, his family and friends (new and old) while they try to protect themselves from the evil that rises to the top of society within DAYS after there is no law and order. The books are about Morgan's journey to get back home to his family during this catastrophe from a weekend trip away.
The main character is a young family man, Prepper and Survivalist named Morgan Carter. The story line throughout the series deals with an unknown catastrophic event that knocks out all the power and electrical devices in the Nation. I am sooooo going to miss these characters dilemma's, struggles, quick wits, drama, humor and their love of family and friends now that I've finished the series. I just finished the forth and final book of the "Going Home" (Survivalist Series) by A. I usually have a short attention span problem when it comes to books but DANG!.
